We farewell Dave and Ave, as they head back home.
Today Allie assisted Ruthie cleaning a local house for a couple of hours, while Crabbie and I went to Ingham to load and shift some furniture to the Country Club.
I checked out a lease on a commercial building here in town.
Both very tired this arvo, rested by the pool.
We gave Toyota a quick call in the off chance there was news about the Prado.
Seems they have all died of Covid, in true following of our luck, the mechanic has got Covid and is off for a few days. However he had "started work on it" - whatever that means.
Looks like we are stuck much longer now. We call RACQ to see what can be extended in terms of Camp fees - but they are having a "our call is important to you - but we will not answer our phone" day.
