Well, from our car issues - we have learnt that it is really worth stopping and seeing places. Having to slow down means we have been able to research whats in the area, and this place is really quite awesome.
Hiking boots on today and we walked from camp in the boat ramp direction way past the Coral Sea War Memorial, then all the way back to the wetlands.
On the way back to camp we stopped in to get a pie (I had earned it). The Bakery had really crap pies. But the crab sandwich at this place was ok, bit expensive tho
Allie has us both on a 'eating healthy food thing' and most people who know me would be surprised to learn Im really enjoying it.
I even uttered the words "lets not buy chocolate biscuits ever again" yesterday ... those are words I did not think my mouth capable.
All up over 14kms walking today. Finished the day off with an awesome dinner.
No more updates on the motor fix yet.
We pick up the Rental car tomorrow morning and have it for the next 3 days.
We are planning to go to Paronella Park and mission beach.
Will pop into the local Toyota dealer in Tully and have a wee chat also.
